Ready to live the Legend as Assistant Sommelier?

Uncork your passion for wine and hospitality with us as Assistant Sommelier, where you will not only work with an exquisite wine selection but also create unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests.

What are you going to do in this position?

As an assistant sommelier at our restaurant Bridges, you specialize in paring wine with food. You will advice our guess on which wines to choose and how to combine them with our exclusive dishes. This means you need to have a good knowledge of various wines, including their taste, aroma, aging and geographical origin.

You will use your knowledge of wine to tell exciting stories about different wines from around the world and you will connect with our guests on a personal yet professional level.

You will work closely with our Maître sommelier Roos Stevens and other colleagues. Furthermore, you will be partly responsible for keeping track of our wine stock and selecting which wines to feature on our menu. Besides this, there is also some administrational work involved, such as scheduling, hour registration and creating menus (for example for special occasion’s such as valentine’s day).

To qualify for this position, we ask the following:

MBO level 4 degree in hospitality management
In possession of WSET 3 is a plus
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a similar position
You master the English and Dutch language
