Gevestigd aan de Keizersgracht, in het hart van De Negen Straatjes bevindt zich het best bewaarde geheim van Amsterdam: The Dylan Amsterdam. Een 5-sterren boutique hotel waarbij het draait om oprechte en persoonlijke service en waar we onvergetelijke ervaringen willen creëren voor onze gasten. Een historische omgeving met 41 prachtige hotelkamers, 4 ruimtes voor evenementen en drie F&B outlets: Bar Brasserie OCCO, het met twee Michelinsterren bekroonde Restaurant Vinkeles en het kleinste fine-dining restaurant van Nederland, até. 

Middenin het hotel bevindt zich Bar Brasserie OCCO. Hier staan kwalitatief hoogstaande producten, vakmanschap en persoonlijke service centraal. We verwelkomen onze gasten voor ontbijt, lunch, High Wine, diner of een kop koffie of cocktail in onze sfeervolle lounge. 

Voor OCCO zijn wij opzoek naar een gepassioneerde manager. Als Bar Brasserie Manager ben jij in staat een team van ongeveer 12 medewerkers aan te sturen en zorg  jij, samen met de Keuken Chef voor een soepel verloop van de gehele organisatie. Tevens ben je verantwoordelijk voor het up-to-date houden van de menukaarten, waaronder het opstellen van een hedendaagse en innovatieve cocktail kaart, samen met de Head Bartender. Daarnaast beheer je de administratie van de afdeling en plaats je de benodigde bestellingen. In alle werkzaamheden die je uitvoert ben je continu bezig met het waarborgen van de hoge service en product kwaliteit en het creëren van een toegankelijke sfeer. Ook heb je ook voor detail en werk je samen met je collega’s aan de verbetering van de afdeling.

Herken jij je in onderstaande punten?

• Je bent afgestudeerd aan een Middelbare of Hogere Hotelschool of soortgelijke opleiding.
• Je hebt ervaring in een soortgelijk hotel en positie.
• Je hebt een helikopterview en oog voor detail.
• Je bent pro-actief en houdt van doorpakken.
• Je bent gastvrij en vindt het belangrijk om voor elke gast een bijzondere ervaring te creëren. 
• Je hebt diepgaande vakkennis op het gebied van restaurant service, koffie, dranken, cocktails en wijnen. 
• Je bent op de hoogte van de laatste ontwikkelingen en trends.
• Je bent communicatief vaardig in zowel de Nederlandse als Engelse taal.

Bar Brasserie OCCO is looking for a passionate Bar Brasserie Manager. As Bar Brasserie Manager you have the ability to manage a team of approximately 12 employees and you, together with the Kitchen Chef, make sure that the operation runs smoothly. You are also responsible for keeping the menu’s up-to-date, including drawing up a contemporary and innovative cocktail menu, together with our Head Bartender. In addition, you manage the administration of the department and place the necessary orders. In all the activities you perform, you are continuously engaged in ensuring high service and product quality, and creating an accessible and high quality atmosphere. You also have an eye for detail and work with your colleagues to improve the department.

 

Who are you?

• You do have a Hotelschool degree or a similar education.
• You have gained experience in an equivalent hotel and position.
• You have a helicopter view and eye for detail.
• You are pro-active, and you like to follow through.
• You are hospitable and you find it important to create an unique experience for our guests.
• You have knowledge of restaurant service, coffee, cocktails, wines and spirits. 
• You are aware of the latest trends.
• You are communicative in both Dutch and English.
